Our Story

HourHustle was born out of frustration. Our founder was a successful tutor who quickly grew from one student to eight, each with different subjects, rates, and schedules. What started as simple math—one student, one rate, one calculation—became a weekly nightmare of manual tracking, calculation errors, and hours spent on administrative tasks instead of teaching.

The breaking point came during a particularly chaotic week with 12 sessions across 6 students, multiple cancellations, reschedules, and last-minute additions. After making calculation errors and missing sessions, it became clear that manual tracking wasn't just inefficient—it was costing time and money.

That's when the idea for HourHustle was born: What if we could automate time tracking through the tool freelancers already use every day—Google Calendar? What if we could transform calendar events into accurate invoices with just one click?
